A 29-year-old man from Kissimmee was killed this weekend after his motorcycle slammed into a vehicle that turned in front of him.
The fatal accident took place just past midnight on Sunday, December 3.
According to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol, a 50-year-old Kissimmee woman was driving a 2015 Jeep Cherokee northbound on Marigold Avenue, approaching San Miguel Street.
The vehicle made a left turn into the direct path of a 2001 Suzuki Motorcycle that was traveling southbound on Marigold Avenue.
As a result, the front of the motorcycle crashed into Jeep, causing both vehicles to become engulfed in flames.
The driver of the SUV, as well as two passengers in the vehicle, were taken to HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital with minor injuries.
The motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene.
