A local church will host two showings of Emmanuel: A Bethlehem Musical this weekend.
The shows will take place on Thursday, December 7, at 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at Life Connection Church, which is located at 2250 S Goldenrod Road in Orlando.
Narrated by different biblical characters, including Mary and Joseph, Elizabeth and Zechariah, a spunky Angel G, two tap-dancing innkeepers, and some crazy, game-playing shepherds, the Broadway-style musical features spoken word and rap in a fresh, modern spin to the classic story.
The musical production is made for kids, by kids. The event will also feature a Christmas marketplace with snow, caroling, hot chocolate, food, crafts, shopping, holiday wreaths, and more.
