A man who was wanted in connection with multiple residential burglaries in Belle Isle has been arrested.
Christian Xavier Vega Rivera, 34, was arrested by Orange County Sheriff’s Office deputies on multiple counts of theft and burglary on Tuesday, December 12.
A week before his arrest, Belle Isle Police provided a photo of Vega Rivera to confirm that he was a person of interest in several residential burglaries that occurred in Belle Isle and other parts of Orange County over the Summer.
Vega Rivera was caught on several neighborhood cameras prior to the burglaries being reported. In all cases, he was seen wearing a gray beanie hat and purple track suit.
BIPD detectives issued a search warrant last week on Vega Rivera’s residence and recovered property belonging to the victims.
