A high-speed rail service that offers 3.5-hour train rides between Orlando and Miami has just added another daily run to its schedule.
Earlier this month, Brightline announced that it will run 32 trains with 16 daily departures between Central and South Florida.
The updated hourly schedule adds another departure from Orlando at 5:50 p.m. that arrives in Miami at 9:15 p.m. It also adds a 1:45 P.M. departure from Miami that arrives in Orlando at 5:15 p.m.
Earlier this year, the train effectively doubled its offering when it began offering 15 daily departures from the Orlando International Airport.
Originally scheduled to kick off on Labor Day weekend, Brightline delayed its September 1 launch date while it worked through “final stages of certification and crew testing.”
The company celebrated the opening of its terminal at Orlando International Airport in April, and in May, it announced that all of its customers would have access to free, high-speed WiFi through Starlink.
