515 new parking spaces at Orlando International Airport

Orlando International Airport officials announced the addition of more than 500 parking spaces earlier this month as the organization moves through its busiest season of the year.

The airport officially opened two new parking lots to the general public on December 4. Lots 2 and 3 will only be open to E-Pass and SunPass Plus customers who are enrolled with Easy Pay, as a transponder must be used to enter and exit the lots.

The lots are located directly in front of the new Brightline Train Station, which opened in April and began offering rides in September.

“Changes in travel patterns along with record airport traffic has facilitated a need for additional parking on airport property,” says Kevin Thibault, CEO, Greater Orlando Aviation Authority. “It is our hope that these additional lots, along with a third lot that is nearing completion, will help ease some parking congestion during the upcoming Christmas holiday season.”

Visitors looking to access the lots from the north should follow signs to Terminal B and then use the South Exit. Make a right at Station Loop Road, located across from the Travel Plaza. Follow Station Loop Road to Surface Lot 2, which is adjacent to the Brightline Train Station. To access Surface Lot 3, stay straight on the roadway.

The new lots provide access to all terminals and the train station. The cost to park at the lots is $20 per day with the first ten minutes free.
