A 21-year-old woman was stabbed to death after she was involved in a dispute with another woman at a local gas station earlier this week.
Altamonte Springs Police Department officers responded to the emergency room of AdventHealth Altamonte Springs on Tuesday, December 19, at around 10:54 p.m. in reference to an adult female who had been stabbed.
Upon arrival, police were told that the victim, Lakeira Hall, had engaged in a dispute with 19-year-old Leanna Ramnarine at the Circle K located at 109 E Altamonte Drive in Altamonte Springs.
According to a witness, who was a friend of Hall’s, during the dispute, Ramnarine allegedly stabbed Hall multiple times with a knife.
The friend transported Hall to the hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.
According to police, Hall and Ramnarine were known to each other.
Ramnarie is currently incarcerated at the John E. Polk Correctional Facility in Sanford. She is being held with no bond and is being charged with second degree murder, according to ASPD.
