The Life
Harvey L. Marshall, Sr. was born in Bellefontaine, Mississippi, on March 6, 1934, to the late Obediah and Vera Marshall. With only an eighth-grade education from Webster County School District, a young Harvey Marshall was forced into the field of work as a young field hand in rural Mississippi. Harvey later enlisted in the United States Army, where he served and was stationed in Germany. After serving his military duties abroad and receiving an honorable discharge, Harvey moved to Eatonville, Florida. He had a successful and communities of Winter Park and Maitland areas of Central Florida.

The Love
Harvey was married to the former Luewill Wilson, a proud member of Malone Memorial COGIC. Those who knew him recognized him as a guitar-picking, quartet-singing preacher. The love story that started in God was seen by all and praised by many. In short, “Harvey loved him some Luewill.” Together, Harvery and Luewill had five children and a choir full of God children all over. His example of love was not just in public but in private. As a family man, Harvey would take his family on vacations and invest in their gifts. As a husband and father, he was the picture of love.

The Loyalty
Harvey was no stranger to grief and hurt, but with his wife by his side, they overcame seasons marbled in tragedies and suffered losses no one could imagine. Through enduring faith and believing in God and still having joy after all they went through, Harvey Marshall, now pastor, served Trinity Temple as Senior Pastor and founder for over four decades. As a son of the Church of God in Christ, Harvey grew through the ranks of the church as he served under the leadership of the Bishop C.D Kinsey and late Bishop Mathew Williams. His dedication to holiness, decency, and timeliness was unparalleled and will be missed.

The Legacy
Supt. Harvey L. Marshall was preceded in death by his father, mother, six siblings, and bonus mother Victoria Marshall. His lifelong lover, Luewill Marshall, beautifully gifted daughters Connie Marshall and Jacqueline Marshall. He leaves to cherish his two living sons he so dearly loved, Harvey L. Marshall Jr. and Christopher P. Marshall, aka “Boy” and “MOO,” who both took care of him until the end of his life’s journey. Harvey also leaves to cherish his two remaining siblings, Henry Herbert Marshall (Janie Marshall) of Orlando, Florida, and Mary Jewell Dean of Westpoint, Mississippi. Betty Brown (Robert Brown) of Atlanta, Georgia, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
