The city of Maitland will host a street party this week as part of its first Friday, Downtown Street Party series.
This month’s event will take place on Friday, January 5, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Independence Square, which is located at 1776 Independence Lane in Maitland.
The Downtown Street Party will feature live music, food and drink vendors, and kids activities. Visitors will be able to stroll through the downtown shops for free, and there will be plenty of parking options in the nearby downtown area.
