A 17-year-old individual has been arrested and accused of murdering another teen at an apartment complex in Orlando this past November.
On Wednesday, Trayvon Randell Jackson was arrested by members of the Orlando Police Department in connection with the fatal shooting of 16-year-old Randy Smith.
Smith was killed at the Metro Place Apartments on November 18, 2023.
On that day, OPD officers responded to calls regarding gunshots and a white SUV stuck on a parking block.
Upon arrival, Smith was found suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.
He was transported to the Orlando Regional Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Jackson has now been charged with second degree murder and armed robbery with a firearm.
