A tornado watch is in effect until later this evening for multiple counties across the state, including Orange and Osceola.
The National Weather Service issued a tornado watch at 1:11 p.m. that is in effect until 9 p.m. for 21 counties across central Florida.
Among the counties included in the watch are Osceola, Orange, Seminole, and Volusia.
Multiple local government offices have issued statements that they will close offices early on Tuesday.
Earlier today, Governor Ron DeSantis declared a state of emergency across 49 counties in the state.
