Marzetta C. Polite, 64, of Orlando, departed this life on Sunday, January 7, 2024. Sandy, as she was affectionately called, was born on December 4, 1959 in Macon, GA to Mary E. Cottle and the late Alvin Stanley Sr.
Sandy was educated in Orange County Public Schools and graduated from Evans High School, class of 1977. Prior to her demise, she was employed with Amvets. In her spare time, Sandy enjoyed gardening. She was a faithful member of St. John Baptist Church, Orlando. She was a devoted mother, daughter, sister and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her daughter, Marquita Polite; mother, Mary E. Cottle; brother, Alvin Stanley Jr.; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday, January 26, 2024 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the mortuary.
A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024, 11:00 a.m. at St. John Baptist Church, 30 Fred L. Maxwell Boulevard, Orlando with Pastor Rolous A. Frazier, Jr., officiating.
