Margaret Grace Eaddy Snipes was born 5/10/45 in Bennettsville, SC. Her father was John Hugh Eaddy and mother was Martha Elizabeth Tillman Eaddy. As a child, she lived in many places in South Carolina.
She studied at the University of Virginia, Frances Marion University and graduated from the University of South Carolina, where she was academically recognized and a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She married Ronnie Alvin Snipes in 1968 and gave birth to a daughter, Kelley Elizabeth Snipes. She taught math, English, and French and retired as a guidance counselor at Marlboro County High School.
Later she moved to Florida to be near her daughter, Kelley Teixeira, and her grandsons Joseph, Jacob, Justin, Jonas, and Jonathan Teixeira and son-in-law, Lawrence Teixeira. She was a devoutly religious woman. She was blessed with an undying love for her husband, Ronnie Alvin Snipes, and his for her.
Her funeral is January 20, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at All Souls Historic Chapel in Sanford, FL. Her obituary is also listed on the DeGusipe Funeral Home website located in Sanford, FL.
