Neil Sedaka musical coming to Winter Park Playhouse

The Winter Park Playhouse will host a series of performances of a popular musical featuring songs from the legendary Neil Sedaka.

Breakin’ Up Is Hard To Do: A Neil Sedaka Musical will run from January 19 through February 17, with show times at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at the Winter Park Playhouse, which is located at 711 North Orange Avenue in Winter Park.

The nostalgic musical comedy celebrates the timeless songwriting of the legendary Neil Sedaka. Set at the Catskills Resort in 1960, the musical follows two friends from Brooklyn in search of good times and romance over one wild Labor Day weekend.

The musical features 20 of Sedaka’s most popular songs, including “Where the Boys Are,” “Sweet Sixteen,” and “Love Will Keep Us Together,” as well as the chart-topping title song.
