Johnie Mack Pleicones Sr., 79, died on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at the Lotus Nursing and Rehab Center, in Orlando, Florida of natural causes.

He is survived by his two brothers, Duke Pleicones of Lake Mary and Steve Pleicones of Orlando, son Johnnie Pleicones Jr. and daughter-in-law Kim Pleicones of Orlando, daughter Tammy Pleicones of Tampa, three grandchildren Johnnie Pleicones III (Trace), Tyler Johnson, and Garrett Pleicones of Orlando, and two great-grandchildren Ryan Faye and Austin Pleicones.

He is preceded by his wife of 59 years Cheryl Dian Pleicones of Orlando. His children remember him as loving father who was supportive and encouraged them to pursue their goals.

Johnie was born on May 26, 1944 in Washington, D.C. to George and Grace Pleicones. He graduated from Edgewater High School in 1961 and married his high-school sweetheart in 1963.

The funeral is scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 26, at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home followed by gravesite service at Greenwood Cemetery at 12:00 p.m.
