Mrs. Patricia Isaacs Sibons passed away peacefully on Monday, January 22, 2023, in Orlando, Florida, at the age of 80.
Pat is survived by her sister Nancy Petersen and brother in law Ed Petersen of Fairfield, IA, daughter Pamela Sherrick of Springfield, IL, son Mark Sibons and daughter in law Lisa Sibons, of Orlando, FL, granddaughter Brittany Tryon and her husband Tim Tyron, granddaughter Samantha Sherrick, and granddaughter Victoria Sibons with fiancé Ben Pronek and great grandchildren Kali Tryon and Dallas Tryon. Pat is proceeded in death by her husband John Sibons. Pat was born August 16, 1943 in Gillespie, Il to Glenn and Helen Isaacs.
Pat married John Sibons, the love of her life, in 1962. Through John’s military service, they were stationed in several locations, including Libya. After military, they settled in Orlando, living on the lake. Pat held several different positions in her career, always being of service to others. Whether through her job or volunteer work, she was sharing her talents with others. She was very active in the church, being an RCIA director, spiritual director, Sunday school teacher and crisis center counselor, just to name a few. Her many others talents were the knack of creativity. From painting to knitting, Pat was able to make beauty from anything she touched.
Her funeral is scheduled for Monday, January 29, 2023, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Orlando, FL, with reception to follow. Viewing begins at 5:00 p.m., a funeral mass begins at 6:00 p.m. Fr Roberto Marquez will be presiding. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Pat’s life.
