A memorial service will be held Friday, January 19th at Delaney Street Baptist Church, Orlando. The viewing is at 2pm, service at 2:30pm followed by a reception.

She is survived by daughters Barbara Cloer and Kris Brown; grandchildren Melissa Williams, Ronson Cloer, Erica Davis, Amanda Boan-Guerdan, Andrew Boan, Leah Brown and Kayley Brown; great grandchild David Braden; great-great grandchildren Jude & Cyrus Braden and Wyatt Breed.

Born on October 17, 1928 in Catawba, NC she was the youngest of 5 children. She survived polio as a small child. After graduating high school and starting work, she often had lunch where a young, handsome guy served her cherry cokes. She and Ryan Little married when she was only 19 years old. They had 3 daughters and after the family moved to Florida for Ryan’s new career, they had a son, Randy.

Ryan passed away at the age of 42, and Billie was raising her children alone until she met Harvey Paul Priest at Parents Without Partners group. They married in 1975 and enjoyed an active life. Billie got her private pilots license and they bought a single engine plane to travel in. They were involved in the Shriners and she became a clown and entertained children at charity events.

Tragically she lost both husband Paul and daughter Cathi within 10 days of each other in 1998. Billie and the family were active members of Delaney Street Baptist Church. She led the homebound ministry for many years. She was always willing to participate in church activities. Her son, Randy died in 1980 while attending FSU. Retiring after many years with H&R Block, she started BB’s Tax Service. In 2015 she moved into independent living at Westminster Towers making many new friends and involved in numerous activities.
