A 56-year-old man has claimed a $1 million prize from a scratch-off lottery ticket that he purchased at a convenience store in Sanford.

Antonio Redden, of Sanford, claimed the $1 million prize from the $1,000,000 A YEAR FOR LIFE SPECTACULAR Scratch-Off game at the Florida Lottery’s Tampa District Office.

Redden chose to receive his winnings as a lump-sum payment of $640,000.

Launched last February, the $1,000,000 A YEAR FOR LIFE SPECTACULAR features two top prizes of $1 million a year for life and 234 prizes of $1 million.
