Dolores Adams, 79, of Tower City, passed away on January 19, 2024, in Orlando, FL. She was born on April 10, 1944, in Philadelphia.
Dee was a caring and giving individual with a great sense of humor. She always had a smile on her face and was known for her laughter. She was a loving wife and a great mom, and her stubborn nature was admired by all who knew her. Dee is survived by her daughter Michelle Adams and her husband Robert Brady, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Harvey Adams.
Dee graduated from Porter Tower High School and went on to pursue her education at Millersville University for education, Kutztown University for computer science, and Lehigh University for her master’s degree in computer science. She taught school from her graduation until the birth of her daughter. Dee then worked as a computer programmer for AT&T and its divestitures until 2001 when she took early retirement. Later, she taught middle school math until her retirement in 2010. Dee was a member of All Saints Lutheran Church in Orlando, where she worshipped.
She found solace and community in her faith. In her free time, Dee enjoyed volunteering at the local food bank, showcasing her creativity through crafting, reading books, and exploring antiquing. She had a passion for giving back to her community and often donated or gave away her crafted creations.
A memorial service to celebrate Dee’s life will be held at All Saints Lutheran Church on March 2, at 2:00 p.m.
