Vehicle bursts into flames at Sanford auto auction facility

A vehicle caught fire while it was on a loading trailer at an auto auction facility in Sanford last night.

Crews from the Sanford Fire Department and Seminole County Fire Department responded to the Innovative Auto Auction at 2500 Adesa Drive in Sanford at around 7 p.m. on Tuesday, February 6.

Upon arrival, firefighters located a vehicle on a loading trailer at the site that had caught fire.

Water was applied to the fire within four minutes of the vehicles being dispatched.

The fire was knocked down and there were no injuries reported.
