Virginia A. Bomford

Virginia, 74, born Boston MA, died peacefully at home on the morning of Wednesday 07 February 2024.

She was a businesswoman who was active in politics. While an employee of Sprint/CenturyLink was recognized by the White House Communications Agency for her outstanding support of President of the United States, White House staff and US Secret Service. Virginia was on the team implementing the first accounting system for Universal Studios, Orlando. Her political involvement included but not limited to State Committee Woman Seminole County for two terms. State Officer of Florida Republican Woman Federated.

She was also president of Suburban Republican Woman Club Federated. Virginia is survived by her decorated husband of over 40 years, retired NY police officer, James M. Bomford, Son Sean Corbin, VP operations Tourtellot & Co, Inc. Daughter in law Stefanie Corbin, Daughter Jennifer Sullivan, Grandchildren: Britany, Laura, Eileen, and Hudson. ….and her beloved dog Wekiva aka “Kiva!”

She is preceded in death by both her parents.

A viewing for Virginia will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Homes located at 90 Weathersfield Ave., Altamonte Springs, FL 32714 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

A Funeral Mass will be held the following day on Friday, February 16, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Annunciation Catholic Church located at 1020 Montgomery Rd, Altamonte Springs, FL 32714. The burial will take place at a later date in New York.
