Roy Icamina Igharas, age 77, of Orlando, Florida passed away peacefully on Friday, February 9, 2024 at 8am.
He was born in Malinao, Rosario, Philippines on September 15, 1946 and married his loving wife Concepcion on June 7, 1975 in Toronto, Canada. Roy had a successful career as a medical technologist in the health care industry first starting in Toronto then moving to Orlando working at Osceola Regional and Celebration Hospital. During his retirement years he enjoyed travelling, spending time with his grandchildren and his passion of farming.
He was survived by his children; Walter (Suzette), Ryan (Sharon) and Phillip, his grandchildren Maxwell, Chadwick, Mateo, Gavin, Avery, Ashton and Nathan, and his brother Edgardo.
A funeral service for Roy will be held Thursday, February 15, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Family Funeral Care, 13001 South John Young Pkwy, Orlando, FL 32837.
