Detectives are currently investigating the murder of a 31-year-old man who was shot in Apopka over the weekend.
Orange County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the 2500 block of Banks View Circle in Apopka in reference to a shooting on Saturday, February 17, at around 12:52 p.m.
Upon arrival, deputies located Juan Guerrero suffering from gunshot wounds. Guerrero was transported to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
According to OCSO, this is an active and ongoing homicide investigation. There is no suspect information available and no additional details were provided.
