Maureen Kathlyn Lawrence was born in Manhattan, NY and grew up on Long Island. She married Leslie Lawrence and had 2 sons Craig and Steve Lawrence.
Her parents retired to Lake Mary in the 1950s when Lake Mary was a dirt road, Maureen followed in 1960 with her 2 boys. She re-married John Richard Miller in 1961 and had Michael in 1964.
She had a career with the telephone company and retired from AT&T. She traveled to many countries with various friends. She also stayed active with the Altamonte Springs Women’s Club and gardening at her home that she lived in for 50 years, in Winter Springs.
She is preceded in death by her parents Harry and Catherine (née Holmes) Smith, and her sons Steve Lawrence and Craig Lawrence. She is survived by son Michael Cohn, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
