Mary Ann DiOrio (nee Marron) passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on February 17, 2024 in Longwood, Florida at the age of 79.
Mary Ann is survived by her son, James DiOrio and his wife, Lisa; her grandchildren, Julianna DiOrio, Victoria Jankowsky and Justin DiOrio and great-grandchildren, Aiden DiOrio and Adam DiOrio. She is also survived by her lifelong best friend, Patty Merola of Cranford NJ and her longtime neighbors and dear friends, Phyllis and Walt Deyo of Brick, NJ.
She is predeceased by her husband, Clement DiOrio and her parents, Robert Marron and Anne Marron (nee Doherty).
Mary Ann and Clem enjoyed traveling and going to see their favorite oldies music group and friends, The Duprees. Mary Ann was born on May 31, 1944 in Elizabeth, New Jersey. She graduated from St. Mary’s High School. Mary Ann and Clement enjoyed 54 years of marriage and lived in Elizabeth, NJ for many years before moving to Brick NJ and ultimately residing in Florida. Mary Ann spent many years as a homemaker and a secretary before retiring from Sea-Land in Elizabeth, New Jersey.
A v isitation will be on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at DeGusipe Funeral Home in Maitland, Florida followed by a 2:00 p.m. funeral mass at Annunciation Catholic Church in Altamonte Springs, Florida on Wednesday, February 28, 2024.
