Veronica Ann Ryley

Veronica Ann Ryley, age 51, of Orlando, Florida passed away February 19, 2024 while in hospice care at Advent Health, downtown Orlando, Florida.

Veronica was born in Clark Air Base, Angeles City, Philippines, one of four children to Edward Charles Ryley and Wilhelmina Ellurig Ryley. Veronica attended and graduated high school at George Dewey High School, Subic Bay, Philippines. She then attended the University of Maryland where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Asian Studies.

Veronica went on to teach pre-kindergarten to elementary aged students at Chickasaw Elementary School. Veronica enjoyed a career as a teachers aide and as a teacher for the Orange County Public School system. Veronica was passionate and devoted to her students.

She is survived by her mother Wilhelmina Ryley, her brothers Dan Ryley and William Ryley, her daughters Victoria Ryley, Makeda Ryley-Rivera, Sarah Rivera, Leah Rivera, and her granddaughter Namine Garcia Ryley. Veronica’s passing was preceded by her father and her brother Michael Ryley.

A visitation will be held on February 28, at 3 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 895 S Goldenrod Road in Orlando.
