John F. Megow

John F. Megow of Winter Springs, FL passed away on February 22, 2024. John was born on December 14, 1929 in Philadelphia PA. After graduating from Ocean City High School, John enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps, and served in the Korean War. After serving in Korea, John relocated to Central Florida. Soon after, he met the love of his life, Janet. They were married for 68 years.

John had a few career changes throughout his life, sales rep and drywall finisher for example. However, building and renovating houses was his favorite. John was loved by all, known for his caring and charismatic personality, as well as his ability to find humor in almost any situation.

John was predeceased by his parents Fred W. and Rae S. Megow, brother Robert S. Megow, and wife, Janet R.Megow. His is survived by sons Phillip W. Megow(Lorrie), and Greg A. Megow. Twin sister Ruth M. Dallas, brother Richard W. Megow, sister-in-law Maria Megow, and grandsons Thomas P. Megow and Frank D. Salamida.
