Raul Santiago

It is with profound sadness that we announce the untimely passing of our beloved Raul Santiago, who left us on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at the age of 55.

He departed peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family, leaving behind a legacy that will endure through generations. Raul Santiago was born on March 3, 1968 in the Bronx, NY, son to his late parents, Gumersindo and Carmen Santiago.

He shared his love of music, movies, and sports with his family and friends. Raul possessed a big heart and zest for life that was contagious. His presence brought joy and laughter to every gathering, and his absence leaves a void that could never be filled.

Raul is survived by his loving lifelong partner Elaine Castro, his two beautiful children Jacqueline Santiago and Janely Santiago, grandchildren Zaria, Sienna, Noah, Legend and expected bambino due in July. As well as a large extended family, siblings and countless friends, all of whom will carry his memory forward with love.

Though we mourn his passing, we take comfort in knowing that Raul Santiago is now at peace, watching over us from above. Raul will forever remain in our hearts, remembered for his kindness, his courage, and his undeniable coolness.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – Winter Park Chapel, 3806 Howell Branch Rd, Winter Park, with Pastor Carlos Reyna officiating.

A visitation with the family will precede the service on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at the funeral home from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Interment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery, Kissimmee, FL. Immediately following the funeral.
