Orlando police are searching for the suspect(s) responsible for a shooting at the Central Florida Fairgrounds that claimed the life of a 35-year-old woman.
The fatal shooting took place on Saturday, March 2, according to a statement issued by the Orlando Police Department.
Officers were called to the flea market parking lot of the fairgrounds, which is located at 4603 W Colonial Drive, in reference to shots being fired in the area.
Upon arrival, police located the victim, Veronica Ramirez, suffering from gunshot wounds in the parking lot. Officers began life-saving efforts on Ramirez and she was eventually transported to a local hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.
