Matriarch of our family is the best way to describe Sue.
She dedicated her life to her husband of 48 years Roger, her two daughters Maggie (Mike), Katie (Buddy), and her adoring grandchildren, Lila, Paisley, Skylar & Mark. After her children entered school, she taught preschool and later kindergarten.
She was thrilled to be involved in helping care for all of her grandchildren and attend their activities. She was happiest when everyone was gathered together for a meal after a day at the beach. Although she will be remembered as a wonderful teacher, wife, mother, daughter, aunt & sister, her greatest legacy will be in the futures she shaped as “Nana.”
