Douglas Albert Palosaari

Doug Palosaari, a vibrant soul who embraced retirement to the fullest, passed away on Monday, March 5, 2024, at the age of 74. Born to Ernest and Elsa Palosaari in Hancock, Michigan, Doug was a beloved son and brother.

He leaves behind his sisters Dorothy Wilmers and Ann Perrault, along with numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. A retired NTSC logistics manager, Camper Doug spent the last two decades traveling the roads of the United States in his cherished RV.

Through his lens, he captured the essence of life and forged enduring friendships across the nation. Camper Doug’s legacy endures through the countless moments he immortalized with his camera, shared through his posts and blog. He leaves behind a rich tapestry of memories that will forever hold a special place in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
