Bernard Morris Weinstein

Bernard Morris Weinstein, also known as Bernie, passed away March 5, 2024, at the age of 93 in Maitland, FL. He was born on February 20, 1931, in Camden, NJ. Bernie was a beloved husband to Rosalind Weinstein and a dedicated father to William Weinstein (Lisa) and Michele Allison.

He was also a cherished Poppy to Amanda Weinstein, Cole Weinstein, Channah Weinstein, Andy Allison, Max Weinstein, Kyle Weinstein, Seth Weinstein, and Ethan Weinstein. Bernie is survived by his sister Marian Cohen and niece Sherry Weene (Michael), and nephew Jerry Cohen.

He was preceded in death by his father Joseph Weinstein, mother, Dora Weinstein Solomon, his son Joseph Weinstein and aunts; Evelyn Masteroff, Sylvia Weinstein, and Rose Auspitz.

Bernie had a remarkable military career, serving in the Navy from 1951 to 1955 during the Korean War. After his military service, obtained his higher education at Penn State University in 1960. Then he pursued a career as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Outside of his professional life, Bernie was an animal lover and enjoyed the company of the many family dogs over the years. He had a passion for sports, particularly baseball, NFL, and college football, with a special attachment to Penn State. Bernie also loved golfing and was actively involved in coaching little league with his sons. He traveled extensively with his daughter, supporting her equestrian shows all over the east coast. Additionally, Bernie cherished spending time on the family farm, taking care of the animals and enjoying mowing the fields.

Bernie will be remembered as the most caring and generous person one could ever meet. His love and dedication to his family were unparalleled, ensuring that his children and grandchildren had everything they needed. His memory will forever be cherished by all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
