Samuel Mendez

Samuel Mendez, of Haines City, departed this life on his 67th birthday, Thursday, March 7, 2024. Samuel, known as “Sammy” by his family and friends, was born on March 7, 1957 in Doylestown, PA to Lydia and Santos Mendez. Prior to his demise, he was employed as an auto mechanic.

He loved spending time with his family and friends. His hobbies included cars and anything related to auto mechanics. He was also known as “Mr. Fix-It” to his family. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his 3 children, Samuel Mendez, Bruce Mendez, Shaina Mendez; father, Santos Mendez; siblings, Jose Mendez, Charlie Mendez, and Carmen Mendez; and a host of grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.

The family will receive guest during a visitation that will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2024 from 3-5PM at Postell’s Mortuary Chapel, Orlando.
