William Clayton

William Clayton, a cherished son, brother, uncle, and friend, entered this world on June 15, 1962, in Houston, Texas, born to Dr. George W Clayton and Mary Jane Clayton. On March 9, 2024, in Apopka, Florida, Bill peacefully departed, leaving behind a tapestry of memories and a legacy of love.

Preceded in death by his brother, George Clayton Jr., Bill is survived by his sister, Coee Clayton, and his three nephews: Skip, Joe, and Jeff Clayton. Their lives were illuminated by his presence and touched by his unwavering affection.

Bill’s passions were as diverse as they were vibrant. An ardent supporter of all Houston sports, he found joy and camaraderie in cheering on his beloved teams. His fascination with World War II airplanes spoke to his deep reverence for history and courage.

Among his many interests, Bill’s love for travel was paramount. His journeys took him far and wide, but it was his visits to Hawaii that held a special place in his heart. It was there that he discovered his passion for cultivating plumeria, a love that brought him endless joy and fulfillment.

Yet, above all else, Bill’s greatest devotion was to his family. He cherished every moment spent with them, finding solace and strength in their presence. His commitment to his loved ones was unwavering, and his love knew no bounds.

In his neighborhood, Bill was a beacon of warmth and goodwill. He relished in the simple pleasures of life, often spending time with his neighbors, sharing stories and laughter that enriched the community around him.

As we bid farewell to Bill, let us carry forth the light of his love and the warmth of his spirit. Though he may no longer walk among us, his memory will forever be etched in our hearts. May he rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love of his family and the gratitude of all who were blessed to know him.
