Man fatally shot in Orlando driveway

The Orlando Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that claimed the life of a 50-year-old man early Thursday morning.

At around 3:50 a.m., officers responded to the 4000 block of Watch Hill Road in reference to shots being fired in the area. Upon arrival, officers found an adult male victim in the driveway who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds, according to OPD.

The police department stated that officers administered aid until the Orlando Fire Department arrived on scene. The victim was then transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The victim has been identified by police as Robert George Bowen.

“The investigation is active and ongoing,” stated OPD. No further details were released.
