She leaves behind a husband (Peter), two children (Joey and Denise), five grandchildren(Jeremy, Logan, Bryce, Zach, and Brandon), four step-grandchildren (Destiny, Sierra, Alannis, and Dalton), three great-grandchildren(Leo, Oliver, and Lily), and two brothers (Bill and Jeff).

She spent 18 years working as a teacher while she raised her two children. There, she developed amazing friendships that would last a lifetime. After moving to Central Florida, she became a Park Ranger at Kelly Park, where she would stay for 22 years. She once again made wonderful, lifetime friends. She loved teaching kids.
