Donald Alvin Reeves passed away peacefully on March 15, 2024 in his home of 59 years in Ocoee, Florida at the age of 89.
Donald was born on June 20, 1934 in Okeechobee, Florida and raised in Winter Garden, Florida. He graduated from Lakeview High School in 1953. Donald worked for the BellSouth Phone Company for 42 1/2 years. After retirement, Donald spent his happiest years fishing with family and friends at his place on the water in Oak Hill, Florida. He’s remembered as a jokester with a passion for fishing, boating, and gardening.
Donald is survived by his wife of 60 years, Connie Reeves; children, Jo Reeves (Kate Ewing), Camie Bentley (Lawrence Sr.), Lisa Dorman, Jackie Ewen, and Mark Reeves (Linda); grandchildren, Dayna Harris, Kaylee Valle, Danielle Reeves, Lawrence Bentley Jr., Chandler Bentley, and John Bentley; and great-grandchildren, Thomas Reeves, Benjamin Harris, Hunter Sanchez, Calvin Valle, Henry Valle, and Charlotte Harris; siblings, Glenda Acton and David Reeves. Donald is preceded in death by parents, Ed and Beulah Reeves; and wife, Minnie Alice Ogletree Reeves.
