Jimmy A. Gaskins, born in New Bern, North Carolina, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2024.
He is survived by Kay, his wife of nearly 40 years, their daughter, Rebecca Gaskins Lewis, granddaughter, Scarlett Keller, Rebecca’s spouse, Jason Lewis, Rebecca’s sisters, Jessica Puckett Morley and Jennica Puckett and their parents, Janice and Jimmy Puckett. Also being survived by his daughter, Darlene Gaskins and son, Jimmy Gaskins Jr., grandson (Jimmy Jr’s son) Myles Gaskins (Sareny Gaskins) and Darlene and Jimmy’s mother, Etta Gaskins.
Jimmy had a very blended family and loved each person equally and individually. He enjoyed woodworking. He was retired from the Air Force and Lockheed Martin. He quietly volunteered on numerous occasions for many years. Pastor Tony Talavera will be the officiant.
