Queenie E. Moore

Queenie E. Moore was born in June 18, 1945 in Leary, Georgia to parents, George Reed and Vera Carswell Reed.

She was educated in Calhoun County Public Schools in Georgia. As a young adult, Queenie moved to Orlando, Florida where she met her husband Irvin Moore. The two married and moved to Oakland, Florida in 1967. Queenie was the rock of her family. She was blessed with the ability to love unconditionally and serve her family and friends without hesitation. She has a very quiet and caring demeanor and loved to cook delicious meals for any and every one to enjoy, especially her family.

She had a love for the game of basketball and was an avid watcher of NBA Basketball. She was sure to watch a games anytime there was one to see. Queenie also had a deep love for God and an unwavering faith in God until her passing. She transitioned from this life into her eternal resting place on Saturday, March 16, 2024.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Irvin Moore; Father, George Reed; Mother, Vera Carswell Reed; Sons: Gregory Harper and Irvin Moore II; Brother, Will Carswell; and Sisters: Harolyn Robinson and Carolyn Lott.

Dora, Florida, Nathaniel Moore (Latasha) of Orlando, Florida, and Darrlyn Moore (Janelle) of Leesburg, Florida; 1 Brother: Donald Reed of Orlando, Florida, Brother-in-law, Abraham Moore (Eddiethria) of Orlando, Florida , Lucius Moore (Derry) of Orlando, Florida and JC Moore of Madison, Florida; Sister-in-law, Delois Carswell of Albany, Georgia, Emma Scott (John), and Ida Pryor, all of Orlando, Florida, and Alice Robinson of Altamonte Springs, Florida; 22 Grandchildren; 18 Great Grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.
