Target purse thief wanted by Clermont police

Clermont police are asking for the public’s help to identify a woman who recently stole another woman’s purse at a local Target store.

On Wednesday, March 27, at around 7:15 p.m., the female suspect was inside the Target located at 2660 E Highway 50 in Clermont when she stole a purse from a shopper, according to the Clermont Police Department.

The police department further stated that the theft of the purse resulted in a loss of over $3,600.

The female suspect was captured on surveillance cameras inside the Target at the time of the theft. She appears to have red/burgundy hair.
