Denfield S. Thomas

Denfield S. Thomas of Ocoee, departed this life on Sunday, March 17, 2024. Denfield was born in St. John’s, Antigua to the late Irene Francis and Alfred Thomas. He was a skilled construction worker and regarded as a “Master Builder” by his family and community. His passion for building was evident to anyone who knew Denfield.

He was a caring, trustworthy, kind hearted and respectable man. He was an active member of Grace Bible Church, Orlando where he served God and people fervently. Denfield was a provider, a hard worker and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Denfield is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Thomas; 7 children, Colson Thomas, Henderson Thomas, Beverly Thomas, Arminthia (Tony) Davis, Athena (Yusef) Leak, Gordia Thomas, Joel Thomas; 11 siblings to include brothers, Eustace (Janice) Rose, Joseph (Avarille) Odlum, Clifton Thomas, Bernard Thomas; 17 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and a host other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the mortuary.

A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024, 11:00 a.m. at Grace Bible Church of Central Florida, 801 Dorscher Road, Orlando with Pastor Gene Pritchard, officiating. Interment: Woodlawn Memorial Park, Orlando.
