Leona Ava Wicker age 91, of Ocoee, Florida, passed away April 4, 2024. She was born March 20, 1933 in McKenzie, Alabama, the daughter of the late Thomas I. and Lessie A. (Anesworth) Scott.
Mrs. Wicker was a longtime resident of Ocoee, and a member of Starke Lake Baptist Church. She was a devout Christian, who loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Wicker enjoyed fishing, and playing dominoes.
Leona is predeceased by her husband Benjamin Wicker in 2013, her siblings Belgium Scott, Isla Mae Fussell, S.L. Scott, Ava Pierce, Buddy Scott, and Leelon Scott.
She is survived by three children Sheila (John) McGuire, Susan (Jimmie) Catrett, Benjamin (Diedra) Wicker, and her sister-in-law Kathy Wicker. Mrs. Wicker is also survived by her beloved grandchildren Chadwick Catrett, Jason (Andrea) McGuire, Dustin (Kim) Catrett, Brenton (Abbie) Catrett, River (Melonie) Wicker, Dylan (Emily) Braswell, and Blue Wicker; ten great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
