Elmira R. Daniels

Elmira R. Daniels, 86, of Sanford, departed this life on Saturday, April 6, 2024. Elmira was born on June 1, 1937 in Colquitt, GA to the late Irene and Clark Raines. Professionally, Elmira was employed as a hospital laboratory technician for several years.

She dedicated her life to her family, her faith and community. She was an active and faithful member of Second Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, Sanford, where she served in various capacities over the years. She instilled love, wisdom, and Christian values for all her children and family to follow. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing the piano, mowing lawns, and singing. She was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Elmira is survived by her daughter, Carolyn (Ezzard) Glenn; sister, Lizzie M. Campbell; 2 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
