Hilda C. Brown

Hilda C. Brown, 74, of Orlando, Florida departed this life on Sunday, March 31, 2024. Hilda was born to Ida and Wellsworth Kelly in St. Thomas, Jamaica, W.I. She had dreams and aspirations for a better life in the states and after she migrated here, she began a career in the restaurant industry for several years.

Hilda was a very kind, generous, loving woman with a heart of gold. She dedicated her life to her raising and caring for her beloved family. She enjoyed gardening and sewing. Hilda was an active and faithful member of Fresh Oil Ministries even when her health began to decline. She instilled love, wisdom, and Christian values for all her family to follow. She was a devoted mother, sister, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Hilda leaves her precious memories with her devoted daughter, Maxine Taylor; 10 siblings, Jean, Maslyn, Jackie, Elaine, Delma, Cerita, Joslyn (Sharon), Minard (Hyacinth), Owen, David; and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
