Lloyd Dwayne Pillow

Dwayne went to rest in Jesus surrounded by his family and close loved ones on Saturday, April 20, 2024. Dwayne was born on July 14, 1963, in Fort Worth, TX to Larry and Helen (Henderson) Pillow.

On October 20, 1990, Dwayne married the love of his life, Lisa Pillow in Alvarado, Texas. They were blessed with two beautiful daughters: Mackenzie and Erin. Both girls adored spending time with their dad and both share his dry sense of humor.

Before 2018, the bulk of Dwayne’s career in Texas was in the oil and gas industry. While in Orlando, his most recent position has been with Ravago Chemicals where he worked as an Inventory Coordinator.

Dwayne loved the Denver Broncos, any kind of off-road racing, NASCAR, the Texas Rangers, an avid love of soccer, and all sports in general. He was also known for his lifelong love of Dr. Pepper, Jeeps, his cats (Zelda and Athena), and helping Lisa and the girls with theatre and all things Disney. His favorite Disney character was Pluto and Baymax was a close second.

Family and relationships were everything to Dwayne. Everyone was welcome at Dwayne and Lisa’s house and visitors instantly felt adopted into their fun-loving family unit. Many of Mackenzie and Erin’s friends considered Dwayne a second parent. All will greatly miss him, but his legacy will live on in his girls and all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving him.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa Pillow, and daughters; Mackenzie Pillow of Orlando, FL, and Erin Pillow of Orlando, FL; brother, Dwight Pillow (Shelia) of Paris, Texas; Diane Franklin (Jerry) of Burleson, Texas and by four nephews and four great-nieces and a host of family friends and loved ones.

Celebration of Life services for Dwayne Pillow, 60, of Orlando, Florida will be conducted on May 2, 2024, at 6 p.m. at Community Funeral Home and Sunset Cremations, 910 W. Michigan Street, Orlando, FL, 32805.
