Berenice J. Yurcisin passed away on April 19, 2024 in Winter Park, Florida after a blessed life at the age of 101.
Berenice is survived by her daughter and two sons, nine grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband George, her parents, and ten brothers and sisters.
Berenice was born in Spangler, PA to John and Aniela Kowardy. After marrying her husband, George Yurcisin, they lived in Michigan and New Jersey before settling in Florida in 1959.
A memorial service is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. on Monday, April 29 at DeGusipe Funeral Home in Maitland, FL.
The burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. at Palm Cemetery in Winter Park, FL.
