Christine Miller left us peacefully in her home on May 5, 2024 in Lake Mary, FL after showering everyone she knew with love, smiles, hugs, and laughter. She was a ray of sunlight, always beaming with grace, compassion, and forgiveness, maintaining a positive, hopeful and humble demeanor throughout her life and short cancer journey. She was born August 13, 1943 in Dearborn, MI to Stanley Miles & Vera (Bumbul).
Tina is survived by her husband of 51 years Ken, her brother Ray of Lake Mary, her children Craig Sheen (Jennifer) of Rexburg, ID, Eric Sheen (Cinthia) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL & Kristen Hewitt (Bob) of Plantation, FL. She had five grandchildren (Ben, Ashley, Ryan, Lila, Emy) and two great grandchildren (Remi & Rynlee). She is preceded in death by her sister Helen Pisarski.
Tina’s family described her as the most giving, caring, helpful, and selfless person they knew. She was always ready to go shopping, play tennis or Bunko with her close-knit group of friends, dance a polka, or give a hair trim. She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, flying with “Kenny,” and was always the life of the party. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren brought Tina the most joy though, earning her the nickname “Nana-Claus” from family and friends.
A funeral is scheduled for Friday, May 17, at 10:00 a.m. at Annunciation Catholic Church in Altamonte Springs, Florida. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Tina’s life or tune into the live stream.
A gathering will be held afterwards at Terramia Ristorante, 1150 Douglas Ave, Altamonte Springs.
