One person was arrested earlier this month after Orlando police recovered 9 grams of fentanyl during a traffic stop.

On May 2, 2024, Orlando Police Department officers conducted a traffic stop on an Acura that was observed committing “several traffic infractions” near the Wawa located at 1163 S Semoran Boulevard, according to OPD.  

During an “authorized search” of the vehicle, OPD officers found a fanny-pack containing 75 individually packaged clear plastic bags, weighing 9 grams, that were filled with “suspected fentanyl.”

In addition, officers found a cup in the trunk that contained an additional 83 individually packaged clear plastic bags, which were filled with a white powdery residue. Officers also located an unspecified amount of cash in the vehicle, which was suspected to be “drug proceeds.”

Flores Roman
A man, identified as Flores Roman, was arrested by Orlando police during the traffic stop on May 2, 2024.

An occupant of the vehicle, identified as Flores Roman, was arrested and charged with trafficking in fentanyl (over 4 grams), possession of fentanyl with intent to sell/deliver, and possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to sell/deliver.
