Manuel A. Salamanca

Manuel Alejandro Salamanca, (35), of Orlando, Florida, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2024, surrounded by his loving wife and family.

Manuel was born to Edwin and Teresa Salamanca on July 5th, 1988 in Ponce, Puerto Rico. He attended Santa Fe Catholic School and after graduating, obtained his Engineering degree from the University of Central Florida.

In 2012, he met his wife, Ashley, and married two years later. Manuel and Ashley shared 9 fruitful years of marriage and became the proud parents of two lovely children.

People were drawn to Manuel for his warm and spirited personality. He filled any room with a warm presence and always was very welcoming. He had a natural ability to bring people close together.

Manuel was a parishioner at St. James Cathedral and lived his Catholic faith. He had a passion for history and loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife, Ashley Salamanca; his two children, Lucas and Amaia; his brother, Juan Salamanca and his wife Madison; his sister, Maria Salamanca and her fiancé Steven; his parents, Edwin and Teresa Salamanca; his nephews, Mateo, Hanson, and Henry; his niece, Astoria.

The family would like to thank the numerous doctors and nurses who diligently cared for Manuel. The family would also like to thank his close friends who were by his side comforting him. Lastly, the family extends a heartfelt gratitude to everyone who kept Manuel in their prayers during his battle with cancer.
