Dmitri W. Thompson age 27 of Orlando, FL passed away 5/12/2024. He was born in Newburgh, N.Y. on 7/7/1996. Dmitri graduated from Orlando Christian Prep and received his bachelor’s from Elon University.
He was engaged to Ashley Clerrobrun. Dmitri was the Founder/CEO of Rise Media Productions and was the Co-Founder/Marketing Director of the nonprofit Rise League Inc. He had a passion for basketball and made it to play at the professional level.
He was preceded in death by (paternal great grandparents) Reuben S. Higgins & Wilhelmina E. Higgins, (maternal great grandmother) Helen E. Stewart, (paternal grandfather) David Thompson.
He is survived by Lesa Thompson, Dwight Thompson, David Thompson, Dwight Thompson Jr, Lexi Thompson, Dior Thompson, Ashley Clerrobrun (maternal grandparents) Shirley E. Kenton & Basil E. Kenton (paternal grandmother) Dorine Forbes, 6 Uncles, 2 Aunts, cousins, nephew, & other relatives.
A visitation will be held on May 25, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 895 S Goldenrod Road in Orlando.
A service will be held on May 25, at 10 a.m. at Majestic Life Church, 821 S Kirkman Rd. in Orlando.
