Larry L. Leonard born November 27, 1945, to the late William A. and Dorothy Robison Leonard in Cranesville, Pennsylvania. He attended Conneaut Valley High school and graduated 1963. He served 4 years in the USMIC with a thirteen-month tour in Vietnam.
He received his call from God to the ministry in 1968 he graduated from Nazarene Bible College in Colorado Springs in 1980. He was ordained in 1981 in Springfield, Illinois. He spent forty-three years in the ministry serving in Pennsylvania, Illinois, and Florida.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Janet Williams Leonard a son Matthew of Sanford, FL and grandchildren; Kaitlyn and Connor Leonard, A daughter Sarah (Christopher) Gay of Richmond, VA. Two Sisters; Bette Morris 80 of Orlando, Florida and Carol Leonard 77 of Sanford, Florida. He was faithful to God his family and his churches.
Larry loved to travel he was an avid reader. His hobby was collecting die cast cars he approximately 1,000. He is a member of Parkside Church of the Nazarene.
Viewing will be on May 20, 2024, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm funeral service to follow at 1:00 pm, with Pastor Chet Bush officiating. Interment Service will be held on May 21, 2024 at 8:30 am at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery 5525 US Hwy 1 Mims, FL 32754.
